There is no plastic container, attractive or otherwise. What Dave & Mark's is selling is a simple small cardboard box full of toothpicks. Here's the caveat: FIVE BUCKS FOR A SINGLE BOX OF 750. They're the good quality stuff, simple as that. No such problems with the Diamond toothpicks. Some say they break easily, others complain of inconsistent length and width. You can buy boxes of a couple thousand or so flat toothpicks under craft supplies, but the reviews of them are not inspiring.
For those purposes the flat shape, with one end pointed and the other broad, is ideal. I like them as tools: for mixing small dabs of epoxy, for applying glue to small parts, and so on. Others like them as building supplies for crafts. Some people like them for picking their teeth. As other reviewers have noted, it seems to have become more or less impossible to find flat toothpicks at grocery stores.
